Barlow, Frederick Ralph, 26 Lincoln Rd, Bournville, B’ham, born 9/7/1910,  Leighton Park Quaker school, assistant secretary & manager for Bournville Village Trust , Quaker member at  Selly Oak Quaker meeting, reported that he & 2 other Quaker COs- Christopher Cadbury & Henry Glaisyer – had been suspended from Air Raid Precautions work  following Birmingham Council decision to suspend COs, Birmingham tribunal 8/10/40 when told permission for voluntary ARP work had been withdrawn, tribunal gave FAU as condition, joined Friends Ambulance Unit 21/10/40 home service , sent to Middle East then China.
