Weston, Frank (18), 100 London Rd, Nottingham, projectionist  at  Bulwell cinema, admitted projecting war films but said it was his livelihood & not directly connected to war, had lost one job when other workers would not accept a CO, not religious but mainly humanitarian, Socialist  who would fight for Socialism, not a member of a Socialist Party & denied Russia was a Socialist country, did not owe anything to this country, had not asked to be born, was not responsible for present state of affairs &  ‘no – one had the right to deny him an existence’, NM 11/6/42 rejected, NEP 11/6/42 p4, NOJ 12/6 p3
